The Calicanto Bilingual Nursery School in Bologna, one of the first institutions to emerge under the Learning by Languages brand, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a heartfelt event filled with emotion, creativity, and community spirit.
The day was a special opportunity to honor the beauty of relationships:
- Among families, who led a festive parade from the school to Dumbo Bologna, enriched with shared readings and music;
- within the staff team, who meticulously planned every detail of the event;
- between the school and its surrounding community, an integral part of the educational project and of the exhibition created with the children’s graphic and narrative contributions.
The beauty of spaces also took center stage: the nursery school itself, which daily hosts innovative educational projects, and the “Unlocking Beauty” exhibition at Dumbo, where the children’s perspectives on the city were transformed into fantastic worlds—accessible only with magic keys, narrated in their own voices.
“Happiness, joy, beauty… they fit our bodies” the children remind us. Simple yet powerful words that continue to inspire our everyday educational work.
